 Die 216 010-9 war die letzte Lok der V 160 Vorserie und die erste mit der später gültigen Form der V 160, die sie von der V 320 erbte. Alle anderen Vorserien-Maschinen hatten noch die "Lollo"-Form (angelehnt an die italienische Schauspielerin Gina Lollobrigida).
 The 216 010-9 was the last V 160 of the pre production run and the first one with the shape of the later 160s, which it inherited from the series V 320. The previous locos of the pre production run had the "Lollo" shape (as a reference to the italian actress Gina Lollobrigida):
